We LOVE the Beach!!

A couple of weeks ago, Purple Grandma and Uncle Coleman came for a week long visit and we all had such a good time together. We were able to go to the beach for a couple days and the girls COMPLETELY loved having them here (along w/ all the added attention!) Thank you Purple Grandma and Uncle Coleman for visiting - we miss you and will see you in June! :)

Nothing like being sisters! We are so blessed...

Joanna has started riding her big girl bike!! She is SO excited and I just can't believe that she's this big already. Here's some pics of her first day on the bike.

Okay, so I may not be as good at keeping up with this as I thought, but I'm attempting. :) Anyway, here's some updates from the past couple of weeks...

The girls and Joel went to a Daddy Daughter Dance at church back in February and had a BLAST. Joanna, of course, had to pick her most spinny dress she had (I think she tried on at least 5) and then we had to go get new shoes. Joy started dancing as soon as she put her dress on. Very sweet - they all had a great time and were exhausted when the got home!

Joy's 1st Birthday!!

Yes, it's true...Joy is ONE YEAR OLD!! I can hardly believe it. This year has completly flown by and I find myself now wondering how it all happened so fast. We had a big birthday party bash for her on the 15th! Family and friends all came to help us celebrate with Joy. She was SO excited to have everyone gushing over her and was totally hamming it up during her party. And, of course, as we all anticipated, she didn't dissapoint when it came time to DEVOUR her cake! She LOVED every second (and bite) of it!!

She is such a happy little girl and truly such a "joy" for us everyday!!

Joanna is getting bigger as well, now telling everyone when the ask her that she is "free years owd". She is still very tall for her age...I wonder if that will ever slow down?! She is LOVING being a big sister - they are so wonderful together and really love each other. We couldn't be more blessed with those two! Well, I think that's about it for now...more updates to come - hopefully this will be easier for me to update than the emails I haven't been sending!! :) Blessings to everyone!!
